The Nesbitt/Nisbet Society aims to assist genealogical research into Nesbitt/Nisbet families (whatever the spelling), to identify and preserve Nesbitt/Nisbet heritage, and to encourage communication and social gathering among all with Nesbitt/Nisbet interests.
The British Isles branch (with a membership spanning much of Europe and to Australasia) was founded in 1983 and has a membership of over 80 families. It organises regular gatherings, produces a regular newsletter, and publishes a wide range of books. Please browse our website and consider membership, which brings access to all our newsletters from UK, N/A & Australia, meetings, talks and genealogical advice, as well as publications that are not online. We work closely with the Nesbitt/Nisbet Society of North America.
The Society also has a Facebook Group that anyone with an interest in N/N families can request to join. Just tell us your connection/interest in your request. Click here to go to our Facebook Group pages.
